Earlier this spring, we all celebrated a [DR] first: an engagement! That's right, [DR]Athena and [DR]Doc are now engaged! The webmaster believes that he speaks for all [DR]s in congratulating these two on their engagement, and wishing them the absolute best. It's hard to imagine a pair of [DR]s getting married, but all I can say is that Athena and Doc are remarkably lucky in each having found each other. Best wishes again, you two.

Some scattered LAN play occurred over Spring Break, though not all of the [DR]s were able to meet up.

The most recent full LAN, at [DR]AntiWar's new pad out by the lake, was on Jan. 04 - however, the webmaster was not there. Check out the link below for anecdotes from other [DR]s.

The LAN that was held at [DR]RaoulA.T.K.O.S.'s home on Dec. 23 was another fantastic success. Out on break and back in Midland, many of the usual [DR] suspects reunited to spread holiday cheer and automatic gunfire in some fast-paced Counter-Strike matches. [DR]Cain even brought a friend all the way over from Calvin - playing with honorary tags, [DR]Ice showcased some mad skills and put in a fine performance. [DR] Servers

The [DR] Clan Counter-Strike server is up! (And usually functional.) Log on to the IP below and frag with [DR].

Also, keep watching for the [DR] tags on various public Counter-Strike, America's Army: Operations, Quake III, Unreal Tournament 2003, and www.battle.net servers.

A few notes on the server: the set-up is still being tweaked, so please be patient with any difficulties you encounter. If you get dropped or receive any error messages, please rejoin the server and describe the problem to a [DR]! That way we can get any remaining kinks worked out. The [DR] server features the goodness of AdminMod and StatsMe, and is protected by HLGuard (so play nice!).
